The Playbutton®, is a patent-protected, fully customizable mp3 player in a wearable button.  We believe the music you love tells the world who you are, so why just listen to an album when you can wear it, too.  Playbuttons enable fans and supporters to show their pride in your band or brand through the convergence of fashion accessory and digital music, letting the world catch a glimpse of who you are through your music.

Choose an image or logo that represents you, your band or your brand, then select an album or playlist and we’ll take care of the rest.   Playbutton enables every person to personalize and share their favorite music with friends, loved ones and the world.  Plug your headphones into the Playbutton and the entire album or mix-tape is there for you to listen to.

Playbutton was born out of the exchange of physical music in the indie scene, but through collaborations with major artists, brands and special events, Playbutton has been made available to every person. Most recently we have collaborated on releases with Louis Vuitton, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Diane Von Furstenberg, Chiddy Bang, Barneys, Deepak Chopra, Coca Cola, Ingrid Michaelson, Bloomingdales, Becks Beer, HBO, Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Zara, Doctors Without Borders, Penguin Café, Pink Martini, The New Museum, Belle and Sebastian and Nylon to name a few. 

We will continue to produce Playbuttons for artists and companies, but with the launch of this website, we will now allow any person to create a customizable button for their friends, family or special events.
